Grounded in Your Real Background
The biggest limitation of every past version: Ghostly only knew what you typed into Interview Setup. Ask it a follow-up about your actual project experience and it could only guess from a job title and company name — generic, not you.
✨ Resume import — upload once, every answer gets sharper
Interview Setup → Profile now has an Upload resume option: a PDF, DOCX, TXT, or even a photo or scan of a printed copy. Once you've added an AI provider key, Ghostly reads it and fills in your profile automatically — skills, past roles, projects — instead of you retyping it by hand.
From then on, every answer the app drafts (chat, follow-up questions, live transcript responses, Screen Analysis) is grounded in that real background instead of a generic "experienced professional" template. Ask about a specific project you listed and it actually knows what you built.
✨ Your tested API keys are backed up
Press Test on an AI provider key or your Deepgram key, and — after showing you the result, nothing waits on this — it's now also saved, encrypted, to your Ghotly AI account. Reinstall the app or move to a new PC, sign back in, and your keys are there; you don't retype seven API keys from scratch.
The key is never stored in plain text. The admin side can see which providers you've tested, the last 4 characters and the status — never the key itself. Want a stored key gone? Email support@ghotlyai.in anytime.
✨ Job Portal tab now shows live data
The Job Portal tab used to show hard-coded copy. It now pulls real stats, plans, categories and the "just posted" list straight from job.ghotlyai.in and api.ghotlyai.in — what you see in the app is what's actually on the site right now.
✨ A cooler ghost — and it actually moves
New mascot: sunglasses, arms crossed. Unlike the old one, it's not just floating there — the arm visibly swings open and folds back across the chest every few seconds, in the app, the tray icon and the installer.
Removed: the Interview Language picker
It only ever did one thing (English), so the picker that implied otherwise is gone.
