Every action has a global hotkey that works from any window, so you never have to reach for the mouse. These are the defaults; all eight can be remapped in Settings.

Captures your screen, compresses it and asks the AI about what it sees. Best for coding or design questions.

Ask AI
Asks the AI about the current context.
Send to AI
Sends the live transcript now, without waiting for the silence detector.
Next question
Saves the current question and answer to history and clears the screen for the next one.
Show / hide
Toggles the overlay window instantly.
Also works: Ctrl + Shift + H
Start over
Resets the session: transcript, screenshots and Q&A.
Scroll up
Goes back to the previous question or answer page.
Scroll down
Moves forward to the next question or answer page.
Move the window
Nudges the overlay up, down, left or right. This one is fixed and not remappable.
If another running app already uses one of these combinations, Windows silently refuses to register it. Ghotly AI shows a banner telling you which shortcuts failed so you can remap them in Settings.
